Documents Required

  • For the Student: ID document, proof of academic registration or results, bursary or NSFAS letter
  • For the Lease Payer: ID, proof of residence (not older than 3 months), and 3-month bank statement
  • For Parents/Guardians: ID and proof of residence

Note: Please upload clear copies. Skip those not applicable.

On approval of your application we will send you a Direct Lodger Agreement that needs to be completed and returned within 7 business days along with the proof of payment of your deposit fee and admin fee, if applicable.

For the Student:

  • ID (RSA ID or Foreign Passport)
  • Proof of Academic Registration or Latest Academic Results
  • Bursary Confirmation Letter
  • NSFAS Confirmation or Proof of Funding

For Lease Payer:

  • ID Document
  • Recent Proof of Residence (not older than 3 months)
  • 3-Month Bank Statement

Parents / Guardians:

  • ID Document
  • Proof of Residence

Full Bursary Holders:

  • Provide bursary letter with value, disbursement date, and payment method.
  • If not fully covered, student must pay the shortfall.
  • NSFAS has a capped amount. Top-up payments may apply.

Part Bursary Holders:

  • Application accepted only after signing sponsorship agreement and residence approval confirmation.

Non-Bursary Holders (South African Applicants):

  • Credit reference required for lease payer.
  • Provide ID, phone number, and proof of address for account payer.

Upon Submission of Application:

  1. All information provided must be true and correct.
  2. Signatory must be authorized to represent the applicant.
  3. Admin fees are non-refundable if application is accepted.
  4. Account payer consents to a credit check.
  5. Personal information may be used for communication and offers related to Si-Tshaba Residency.
